IBSA launches “Expecting Minds”, a new initiative supporting emotional wellbeing throughout the fertility journey

IBSA presents Expecting Minds, a new international initiative developed as part of its commitment to supporting emotional wellbeing throughout the fertility journey.

The project was created with the aim of encouraging dialogue, support and greater awareness around the challenges that millions of people face on their journey towards parenthood, providing supportive tools through a holistic approach to fertility.

A PROGRAMME FOCUSED ON EMOTIONAL WELLBEING

Several scientific studies show that people undergoing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatment may benefit from reduced stress and emotional tension, contributing to their psychological wellbeing and potentially having a positive impact on the treatment process.

In this context, IBSA is launching Expecting Minds, a programme of live and on-demand webinars designed to provide emotional support for couples undergoing fertility journeys. This initiative will start as a pilot project in Spain and Poland. It is structured around six thematic areas and combines expert-led sessions, practical exercises, and opportunities for reflection and discussion, with the aim of offering useful tools to manage uncertainty, strengthen resilience, and cope with waiting periods in a more balanced way.

The programme has been designed in a flexible format, with both live sessions and on-demand content, making it easier for participants to access and fit around their daily lives.

A HOLISTIC VISION OF FERTILITY

For IBSA, fertility should be approached not only through scientific and medical advances, but also by considering the emotional and psychological dimensions that accompany these experiences.

Through Expecting Minds, the company reaffirms its commitment to a more human, empathetic and informed vision of fertility, giving space to the stories, emotions and personal experiences linked to assisted reproduction and new ways of experiencing parenthood. This initiative is part of IBSA and IBSA Foundation’s ongoing commitment through projects such as Parole Fertili, aimed at raising awareness of and giving voice to experiences related to fertility and parenthood.
