IBSA Advances Meeting 2025: Knowledge, Experience and Purpose

On Friday, 7 November, the IBSA Advances Meeting 2025 was held at Espacio MEEU in Madrid, marking the first time in the history of IBSA Iberia that the fields of fertility and musculoskeletal medicine were brought together in a single event.

Over 300 specialists in gynaecology, reproductive medicine, traumatology, sports medicine, rehabilitation and pain management gathered to discuss the latest developments in their respective areas. In addition, IBSA Iberia created a shared space between the two therapeutic areas with a session dedicated to the comprehensive assessment of the female athlete. The day was characterised by scientific exchange, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to innovation in the service of patient wellbeing.

The day continued with discussions on personalised and precision medicine, exploring the use of hyaluronic acid, biological treatments, and “omics” technologies to tailor therapies to each patient. Discussion panels allowed the exploration of complex cases and strengthened multidisciplinary collaboration.
