Throughout 2025, IBSA Iberia has strengthened its commitment to innovation, scientific training and multidisciplinary collaboration through numerous activities aimed at healthcare professionals from a wide range of specialties.
A year full of activities: 2025, a period of growth and training at IBSA Iberia
IBSA ADVANCES MEETING: A MEETING POINT FOR FERTILITY AND OSTEOARTICULAR HEALTH
More than 300 specialists gathered in Madrid to share the latest advances in assisted reproduction and musculoskeletal medicine. The meeting addressed topics such as the influence of the menstrual cycle on sports performance, personalised approaches in fertility, and new treatments based on precision medicine. FERTILITY: NEW GENERATIONS OF EXPERTS AND TRAINING INITIATIVES
This year also saw the completion of the latest edition of stARTs: The Origin of What Will Be Created, a pioneering training programme led by IBSA Iberia and aimed at young specialists in assisted reproduction. The initiative has enabled early-career gynaecologists to deepen their knowledge in key areas of reproductive medicine and move towards a more comprehensive clinical practice.
In addition, 2025 marked the launch of VisionART, an accredited course focused on the use of 3D and 4D ultrasound to enhance diagnostic accuracy in reproductive medicine. The course is designed for gynaecologists and reproductive specialists seeking to provide more accurate and complete care to their patients.
OSTEOARTICULAR: HIGH-LEVEL TRAINING
In the osteoarticular field, 2025 was marked by high-level training activities. Among the highlights were the various Cadaver Labs organised throughout the year, where professionals in traumatology, rehabilitation, sports medicine, rheumatology, anaesthesiology and pain units refined their ultrasound skills using real anatomical models and shared clinical experience in a highly practical setting.
During the SERMEF congress, we delivered a workshop on ultrasound-guided intervention using artificial intelligence. Led by Dr Carlos Cordero and Dr Almudena Fernández, participants expanded their skills in interventional techniques for musculoskeletal and osteoarticular conditions, improving safety and precision thanks to advanced simulation systems.
Additionally, in 2025, IBSA's international osteoarticular events have involved a total of more than 500 physicians from 17 countries, including orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, physiatrists and sports physicians, confirming the company's commitment to continuous and multidisciplinary training. DERMOAESTHETICS: EXPANSION OF NAHYCO® TECHNOLOGY
Following the 2024 launch of the latest NAHYCO® innovation, in 2025 we focused on strengthening specialised medical training to ensure professionals can apply the technology with confidence and precision. More than 300 attendees joined its official presentation at the SEME Congress, while over 200 specialists participated in the Structura Tour across Spain and Portugal, gaining deeper insights and sharing clinical experience.
Additionally, our TRACE training centre in Lodi (Italy) hosted three exclusive masterclasses with the participation of nearly 50 professionals. These sessions provided access to advanced training, case discussions and hands-on refinement of techniques related to NAHYCO® technology, reinforcing its safe, effective and evidence-based application.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026
All these activities highlight IBSA Iberia’s commitment to continued growth alongside healthcare professionals, driving ongoing education, innovation and the exchange of knowledge.
